Para este año 2024, PortCastelló pretende continuar con este crecimiento y evolución al alza. Los países con los que durante el 2023 tuvo más tráfico comercial de producto hortofrutícola fueron, principalmente, Egipto, en lo que a importación se refiere, y Libia, Israel, Chipre y Túnez, en cuanto a exportación. Servicios PortCastelló cuenta con 136 conexiones reefer extensibles a 200. Además, Noatum tiene un almacén frigorífico en el puerto de Castellón, con una superficie de 12.500metros cuadrados y capacidad para 7.500 palés demercancía perecedera. Enel PuertodeCastellónactualmentehayunPuntodeControl Fronterizo (PCF) donde se prestan los correspondientes servicios de inspección de Sanidad Animal, SanidadVegetal, SanidadExterior, SOIVREyAduanas. Estas instalacionesdisponen de cuatro bocas de carga para las tareas de inspección de lasmercancías. Proyectos de futuro PortCastelló tiene enmarcha el proyecto para la ampliación de las instalaciones del PCF en una nueva ubicación. Se construirá un edificio con una superficie estimada de unos 3.500metros cuadrados de planta, donde se pretende contar con aproximadamente sietepuertasdedescargacon laposibilidadde realizar inspecciones simultáneas. Este edificio se estima que estará operativo en 2028.
