Con estos datos, las dársenas nacionales se colocan a algo más de los dos millones y medios de cruceristas de los 10.664.581 pasajeros registrados antes de la pandemia. La eliminación total de las restricciones a bordo de los buques, así como la libertad total en los destinos en materia sanitaria auguran que a lo largo de 2023 se pueden recuperar las cifras de 2019, aunque habrá que prestar atención a la incertidumbre internacional y cómo puede afectar al tráfico de cruceros. La inflación y el precio de los carburantes, y la consecuente subida de los precios de los pasajes, puede repercutir en una menor demanda. After a 2020marked by the pandemic and a 2021 which registered signs of recovery despite the restrictions of the first few months, the data for 2022 encourage optimism, since in just the last year a large part of what was lost in the previous two years has been recovered, and we are heading towards equaling the 2019 figures, which were the best in history for Spanish ports in terms of cruise traffic. Spanish ports handled a total of 8,151,598 cruise passengers in 2022, representing an increase of 267.34% compared to 2021. With these figures, Spanish ports are just over two and a half million cruise passengers short of the 10,664,581 passengers registered before the pandemic. Total lifting of restrictions on board ships, as well as total freedom in the destinations in terms of health matters bode well for a return to the 2019 figures over the course of 2023, although attention will have to be paid to international uncertainty and how this may affect cruise traffic.
