Este tráfico se desarrolló fundamentalmente con las Islas Canarias, ya que Sevilla es uno de los principales puertos de España de aprovisionamiento o salida para susmercancías. Letonia, Lituania y Reino Unido fueron los tres países conmayor procedencia demercancías con 23.318, 6.929 y 3.300 toneladas, respectivamente. Servicios Dentro de la oferta de frío, el Puerto de Sevilla cuenta conuna plataforma en la Zona de Actividades Logísticas. Esta ocupa una parcela de unos 6.000metros cuadrados, dondesehaconstruidounanave frigoríficadeúltimageneracióngestionada por Carbó Collbatallé. Por otro lado, la Terminal Marítima del Guadalquivir dispone de un área para contenedores refrigerados con78 tomas de corriente eléctricapara reefer. La terminal de contenedores tieneuna capacidadde 300.000TEUs, una terminal ferroviaria, una rampa ro-ro y dos grúas tipo Gantry. Además, cuenta con salidas semanales que conectan el interior de la Península con las Islas Canarias y está junto a la ZAL. El Puerto de Sevilla dispone de un Puesto de Control Fronterizo en el que los Servicios de InspecciónenFrontera realizan las oportunas inspecciones sanitarias, veterinarias yde calidad, conobjetode garantizar que los productos procedentes de tercerospaíses, tantodestinados al consumohumano comoal nohumano, accedan almercado comunitario con las garantías exigibles. Enél están instalados los servicios de Sanidad Exterior, Sanidad Animal, Sanidad Vegetal y SOIVRE.
