Dada la complejidad de la logística, el cliente confió en Erhardt Projects, especialista en este tipo de desafíos logísticos, para transportar sin problemas las ”columnas despropanizadoras”. El equipo, de alto valor estratégico para la región, pesaba unas 500 toneladas y medía unos 52 metros de largo y 8 metros de diámetro. La operación requirió de una coordinación excepcional entre el embarcador, el cliente, la línea naviera, el equipo de transporte pesado y varias agencias gubernamentales para procesar autorizaciones y hacer cambios estructurales en las rutas terrestres. El viaje comenzó en Rabigh (Arabia Saudita). A lo largo de dos días, se utilizó el transporte terrestre para llegar al puerto del Rey Abdulla, lugar elegido para cargar y asegurar las piezas por barco y transportarlas por mar al siguiente destino: el puerto de Jubail. Tras seis días, la carga se descargó en remolques, un desafío para el equipo de Erhardt Projects debido al tamaño de las piezas. The equipment, of high strategic value for the region, weighed around 500 tonnes and measured 52 metres in length and 8 metres in diameter. The operation required exceptional coordination between the shipper, the customer, the shipping line, the heavy transport team and various government agencies to process authorisations and make changes to overland routes. Over the course of two days, land transport was used to reach the Port of King Abdulla, where the parts were loaded onto the ship, secured and transported by sea to the next destination, the Port of Jubail. After six days, the cargo was unloaded onto trailers, a challenge for the Erhardt Projects team due to the size of the pieces.
