Dos de los enclaves con más movimiento de este tipo de carga, como son Sevilla y Castellón, incrementaron el pasado año sus volúmenes, y mantienen previsiones positivas para este incierto 2023. En 2022, el Puerto de Sevillamovió 23 buques de carga de proyecto con secciones de torres eólicas, grandes piezas, viaductos y transformadores desde los Muelles de Armamento, Centenario, Terminal Portuaria Esclusa y Terminal de Carbón Puerto. Aunque positivas, estas cifras no llegan a las de 2020, ejercicio récord con 42 buques movidos. Para 2023, las previsiones son positivas. GRI Towers está realizando distintos embarques de secciones de torres eólicas offshore con destino al Mar del Norte. Además, Tecade avanza en la construcción para dos subestaciones eléctricas para una parque eólico. El Puerto de Castellón, por su parte, está fuertemente vinculado al de palas de aerogeneradores. El enclave castellonense movió en el pasado año cerca de 1.500 palas y se espera que esta cifra aumente en 2023, lo que muestra la diversificación y adaptabilidad del puerto a las exigencias de la operativa de cargas especiales.
