DIARIO DEL PUERTO CRUISE TRENDS - SEATRADE 2022 46 VILAGARCIA INFRASTRUCTURE FOR CRUISE SHIPS The Port of Vilagarcia can handle cruise ships at any of its quays. Larger cruise ships normally call at the multi-purpose Ferrazo North, Comboa or West Commercial quays. These quays have depths of up to 13 meters and berthing lines of up to 427 meters. The O Ramal Quay, with a depth of seven meters, is used exclusively for small cruise ship calls. It is a privileged location, as it is located between the beach and the marina, and only a fewmeters from the city center. The Port Authority of Vilagarcia provides visitors with a free shuttle service from the quay to the city center, a cab rank and a visitor information point, in order to make the stay in port more pleasant for cruise passengers and crew.
