What might initially have been considered a temporary pandemic-related phenomenon unfortunately turned out to be permanent: vulnerable supply chains. Increasing their resilience is this year’s challenge. On the positive side, digital, sustainable and resilient measures work together and reinforce each other. Introducing new technologies also helps to master the huge ongoing task of reconciling logistics with respect for the environment, without jeopardising the profitability of logistics companies. The economic turmoil continues and the decisive factor is to play a positive role in working with it.
