Lamodificación de los hábitos de clientes y navieras con buques premium de tamaño mediano y nuevos destinos más allá del circuito de grandes ciudades hace que las navieras busquen nuevas plazas con alternativas a lamasificación, lo que supone una oportunidad para Avilés ya que cada vez se conocenmás sus atractivos. Tras no recibir cruceros en 2023 y 2024, la escala el 15 de junio del “Scenic Eclipse”, que volverá a Avilés en 2026, ha reactivado este tráfico en Avilés, con una perspectiva de continuidad para 2026 y 2027, con 3 y 6 escalas previstas, respectivamente, en este momento.
