Actualmente existe un servicio reefer con ferrocarril por el corredor de Zaragoza y además seha trabajadoa lo largode 2025paraconectar el nortedeEspaña, conservicios refrigerados a Bilbao, Valladolid y Vigo. Además, la conectividad con los cinco continentes, en especial con Sudamérica y Asia, permite optimizar las rutas de distribución de estos productos. ÎServicios A las infraestructuras aportadas por las terminales se añaden: el almacén de la compañía AgroMerchants Group – que cuenta con 16.000metros cuadrados–; el PCF del Puerto de Valencia de 17.000 metros cuadrados y el PCF del Puerto de Sagunto, instalaciones todas ellas con demandas crecientes. LOSPUERTOSESPAÑOLES / THESPANISHPORTS PUERTO DE VIGO PORT OF VIGO ÎConectividad y tráficos El tráfico de fruta del Puerto de Vigo se caracteriza por su condición mayoritariamente importadora, con un 90% de los volúmenes correspondientes a mercancía procedente de Centro y Sudamérica como, por ejemplo, Brasil, Costa Rica y Ecuador. También hay tráfico desde Sudáfrica. Después de sucesivos años encadenando crecimientos porcentuales superiores al 20%hasta superar las 286.000 toneladas en 2024, 2025 ha sido un año en el que se ha observadomás estabilidad y consolidación de las cifras alcanzadas. ÎServicios La terminal de contenedoresdeVigo, TERMAVI, seha consolidadocomo referencia conmás de 1.300 conexiones reefer disponibles. Junto a ella operan dos terminales especializadas en fruta, DART Vigo y Progeco Vigo Fresh Port, ambas situadas de forma contigua a la terminal de contenedores, lo que favorece la concentración operativa y permite contar con instalacionesmodernas. ÎProyectos Entre los proyectos destaca la construcción de un nuevo Puesto de Control Fronterizo. A ello se sumará la finalización, en 2026, del apartadero ferroviario de la Plataforma Logística del Puerto de Vigo (PLISAN), situada a 35 kilómetros del puerto.
