Hayquedestacar tres recientes nuevos servicios: Finnlines añadió en octubre escala en el puerto de Gdynia (Polonia); y MSC sumó en diciembre dos nuevos servicios, uno semanal y directo que conecta el norte de Europa con la costa oeste de Sudamérica; y otro semanal con el puerto de Halifax (Canadá). Hasta noviembre de 2025 se movieron por el Puerto de Bilbao 99.077 toneladas de tráfico hortofrutícola. ÎServicios La terminal de contenedores cuenta con 540 tomas para contenedores reefer y un accesoautomatizadoqueagilizaysimplifica toda laoperativa, ademásde la terminal de frío, Frioport. El PCF, por suparte, cuentacondos zonasdiferenciadas, laadministrativa y la de inspección. Esta última, de gran capacidad, dispone de 15 bocas. ÎProyectos La AP de Bilbao está realizando mejoras en el Puesto de Control Fronterizo (PCF) que incluyenuna inversiónde 534.052 euros para la sustituciónde los equipos de refrigeración de las cámaras y de losmuelles de carga. Paralelamente, se siguen incorporandonuevos servicios a laplataformaelectrónica para que todos los trámites sean más ágiles y seguros. En esta línea, se trabaja para impulsar la intermodalidad y crecer en cuota de transporte ferroportuario. A ello se unen los proyectos para disminuir la huella de carbono, ser líder en sostenibilidad y convertirse en un Green Port. Será el primer puerto del eje atlántico que electrificará losmuelles. También cabe destacar el gran peso de la importación de plátano canario, con una conectividad de 4 servicios semanales. En cuanto los tráficos, hasta noviembre de 2025, Barcelona había movido 487.404 toneladas, lo que representaba un descenso del 8%respecto el mismo periodo de 2024. Un descenso que se debe a la bajada en las importaciones de banana y el descenso de los transbordos provocados por la crisis del Mar Rojo. ÎServicios El Puerto deBarcelona cuenta condos terminales de contenedores especialmente adaptadas para el tratamiento demercancías refrigeradas. Estas infraestructuras disponen de más de 4.000 puntos de conexión reefer y están gestionadas por un equipo de profesionales con una gran experiencia en la manipulación de este tipo de carga. Además, ambas terminales ofrecenunaampliagamade conexionesmarítimas yestán preparadas para operar con trenes refrigerados. ÎProyectos Enmarcado en la estrategia para convertirse en un hub logístico sostenible y reducir el impacto ambiental impulsando la transición energética, desde el Puerto de Barcelona están desarrollando el proyecto NEXIGEN.
