Por otro lado, Global Ports Holding está construyendo la nueva terminal de cruceros del enclave que seguirá criterios sostenibles. Será un edificio modular que usará energía solar para garantizar un suministro sostenible y cubrir las necesidades energéticas de la terminal. El Port prevé que esta terminal sostenible esté operativa en 2024. Además, MSC Cruceros realizará 26 escalas de su buque “MSC Magnifica”, durante este año. La intención es poner en valor la experiencia de disfrutar de la subida del río, admirando el Parque Nacional de Doñana, los arrozales y los pueblos ribereños hasta llegar a Sevilla. Así, se promocionará Sevilla como destino inigualable por su historia, cultura y gastronomía. Además, los cruceristas pueden visitar la ciudad directamente por su magnífica ubicación, ya que su terminal de cruceros se encuentra a pocos minutos del centro de la ciudad. Otros de los grandes objetivos es conseguir una nueva línea regular que tenga puerto base en Sevilla, posicionando Andalucía como nueva ruta. WHY IS THE PORT AUTHORITY ATTENDING SEATRADE EUROPE 2023?
