Digital technology has already changed agriculture and there will be an area dedicated to this important, forward-looking topic in Hall 5.1. Participating companies will be showcasing digital solutions for pest control, AI technology for estimating fruit yields, smart reporting and reliable forecasting, decision support systems, autonomous flying robots for fruit picking and much more. Finally, what does it mean on a personal level to be reunited with so many companies and people with whom you have had such a close relationship over the years? Meeting again on a personal level fills me with happiness and hope. These have been difficult years in which we have worked hard on different activities that have not materialized. It has certainly been frustrating and tiring, but finally seeing so many people again who have become friends will make me forget the past. It offers a variety of new functions in addition to the standard exhibitor and product summary as well as individual lists of favourites. The tool focuses on networking within the industry’s global community. As a digital extension of Fruit Logistica, Fruit Logistica Online serves as the central online platform for the fresh fruit industry throughout the year.
