Esta grúa es esencial para las reparaciones y el suministro de repuestos de los molinos de viento del parque eólico Goubet, situado en Djibouti. Dadas las dimensiones de la grúa y sus accesorios, junto con la actual falta de servicios marítimos regulares en esta área, la compañía gestionó un contrato de fletamento para el transporte. “La principal dificultad fue la coordinación entre el cargador y el armador. This crane is essential for the repairs and supply of spare parts for the windmills at the Goubet wind farm in Djibouti. Given the dimensions of the crane and its accessories, along with the current lack of regular maritime services in this area, the company arranged a charter contract for the transport. ”The main difficulty was the coordination between the shipper and the shipowner. As charterers, we managed to harmonize the objectives of both parties, which was reflected in the Gencon policy we signed after several weeks of negotiations. One of the most complex points was to define the terms for the arrival in Djibouti, but thanks to our experience in previous similar shipments in the region, we were able to reach a satisfactory agreement,” explains the company. The LT1500 crane and its accessories were transported on a roro vessel. The crane was loaded by its own means (roro); however, for the loading and unloading of the accessories, mafis were used, ”necessary for the operations of unloading at the port of destination and delivery to the end customer by trucks as planned by EccoFreight specifically for this purpose”.
