Both classes have a ramp capac i ty of 375 tons and a maximum main deck height of 6.5 meters. They are equipped with onboard tug masters capable of loading cargo on maf i up to 160 tons. BBC Chartering, another shipping company special izing in project cargoes, is also in the process of expanding its fleet. Last year it put into service two new vessels of the ”LakerMax” class, the ”BBC Leer” and the ”BBC Houston”, multipurpose ships with three decks and a lifting capacity of up to 500 tons. Their design al lows for greater space uti l ization, generating a free deck space of 2,830 square meters.
